The desire for anything more was not only selfish, but extremely unrealistic.

This is exactly how I watched my own father live and how he expected me to live when I grew up.

This is the force at work.

The force in and of itself is nothing but a belief system.

But beliefs are extremely powerful because they influence decisions.

To break it down very simply your entire life is nothing more than a summary of decisions that you make.

Some are big and others are small.

But each and every one of them contributed to a result of some sort in your life.

Now if your belief system includes things like:

• Money is limited

• You need to work hard to become wealthy

• The desire for a lot of money is evil or greedy

• The odds of becoming rich are very unlikely

• The more money I make the more someone else loses

Then all the decisions that you make in life will support those beliefs.

And in the process you will subconsciously restrict yourself from any kind of opportunities that bring wealth into your life.

Conversely this is the reason why people who have an opposite type of belief system seem to attract money and wealth almost accidentally.

What I’m sharing with you here is nothing you may not have heard before.

You’ve probably heard self-proclaimed “gurus” of all kinds tell you that limiting beliefs are what’s holding you hack.

But what they don’t tell you is how to change them.

And that’s exactly what I’m going to reveal here.

Why Your Mind Is Scientifically Proven To Hold You Back

Most people are trapped inside the limits set forth by their own mind.

The human species is designed for protection and self-preservation.

Our mind’s primary job is to protect us from threats.

In many cases this helps us.

For example when you are driving your car and suddenly within a tenth of second you see another car from the corner of your eye about to run the stop sign and crash into you and you’re able to hit the brakes without even thinking about it…

That’s a benefit of the mind’s ability to protect us.

Psychologists even have a term for this phenomenon.

It’s called thin slices.

This is when information reaches our subconscious mind seconds before our conscious mind.

This explains why we are able to see the car, hit the brakes and avoid the accident all within seconds.

But sometimes this can work against us.

You see there are 2 parts to our existence; the physical and the spiritual.

The physical is made up of our organs, our body parts and the visual representation of who we are.

The spiritual is deep and unseen but also has a very strong presence.

The physical is the part that protects us from threats and danger like the example I gave above.

But the spiritual part doesn’t concern itself with things like threats and danger.

Its only responsibility is to draw us to the things that make us feel fulfilled and overwhelmed with joy.

Your passions and desires come from your spirit.

When you engage in an activity that you truly love, such as creating art or music or cooking or anything else that makes your heart sing, it is your spirit that is at work.

The problem is that the physical part is constantly interfering by trying to protect us.

Let’s say you have a passion for making music.

It’s something that you’ve loved since you were a young child.

When you make music, time seems to stand still.

In a perfect world you would do nothing but make music and you would not have to worry about finances.

You could sell your music or perform it and you would be paid large sums of money.

Somehow the Universe would provide for you while you follow your passion.

You wouldn't have a care in the world other than making the best possible music that you could.

This is the ideal scenario created by your spirit.

You would feel awake, alive, energized and balanced.

But then your physical mind interferes with what it thinks is what you need to hear in order to protect you.

It starts telling you things like…

“You can never realistically make a living with music”.

“You need a secure job”.

“You need a steady paycheck.”

This is your physical component trying to protect you from the perceived threat of loss.

And it comes from your belief system.

Your beliefs control your destiny because your destiny is determined by your decisions and your beliefs influence all of your decisions.

The problem is most of your beliefs aren’t even your own.

You inherited them from your parents and other authority figures as a child.

And they inherited them from their parents.

It’s a never-ending vicious cycle of negative beliefs disguised as wisdom or protection.

Just as my dad would tell me every single day that my destiny was to work hard and make just enough money to get by, his dad told him the same thing.

One day while at work with my dad I accidentally stumbled on the solution to this problem without even realizing it.

There I was watching him and everyone else work themselves to the bone doing tasks they didn’t enjoy.

Then I started thinking about my life and how I would grow up to do the same thing...just as he told me I would.

How I Stumbled On The Hidden Key To Stopping The Force of Spiritual Misalignment

But then something almost magical happened.

For just a few seconds I imagined something different.

Rather than imagining myself growing up to be a field worker or fisherman as he said I would, I imagined myself doing something I actually enjoyed like talking to people.

Then I imagined myself doing something that I enjoyed even more like helping people.

Then I imagined myself doing even more than that.

I imagined myself learning as much as I could about something and then passing that knowledge on to other people.

At the time I had no idea what that “something” would be...I just simply imagined myself helping others.

And it felt so good that each day I did it again and again.

And each time I did it I added more details to the images I was imagining.

Before I knew it I had imagined myself becoming a completely different person than my dad said I would be.

And just like that I instantly stopped the force at work dead in it’s tracks.

I went on to become a best-selling author and entrepreneur who’s traveled to almost every single country on this planet with the exception of Antarctica (and I’m in no hurry to get there).

That “something” that I figured out turned out to be spiritual awareness.

I spent the past 40 years of my life dedicated to learning as much as I could about spirituality and how we can use it to improve our lives.

And now I am regarded as one of the foremost experts in this field.

I don’t tell you this to brag.

I tell you this to illustrate the point that I became something drastically different than what I was supposed to be.

And I did it using nothing more than my imagination.

You see, what I figured out at a very young age is that the only way out of this vicious cycle is through the imagination.

The imagination is the only vehicle that enables you to suspend belief and choose to possibly believe something else.

When you imagine something you temporarily choose to believe something other than what your beliefs tell you.

And in the process of doing that you start to alter your current beliefs.

The problem is that when most people start doing this the protective part of the mind interferes.

You see I was fortunate enough to figure this out as a kid at a time when I was ignorant enough to not allow the protective part of my mind to hold me back.

I was just a kid.

I didn't have enough “common sense” back then.

And that allowed me to imagine freely without my protective thoughts interfering.

Most people are not as fortunate.

They don’t imagine so young or they choose to let the mind hold them back.

And as they get older the limiting beliefs get stronger and stronger.

Think about that for a second.

Children have much more of a “wild imagination” than adults do.

Why is that?

It’s because they haven’t yet been as exposed to the limiting beliefs and then the decisions that we make which support them.

In other words the cycle hasn’t really kicked in yet when you’re young.

As you get older - unless you stop and let your imagination take over -  chances are you’re going to allow the force of negative advice and thinking to mold your belief system.

Then your belief system influences your decisions.

And then you become spiritually misaligned.

And the older you get the more spiritually misaligned you become.
